For years, I handed off Figma files to developers and hoped for the best. Then I discovered Framer โ and everything changed. My workflow now allows me to prototype, test, and ship directly from my design files. I begin in Figma with modular components, solid auto layout practices, and proper typography styles. Once ready, I move the project into Framer where the build becomes interactive.
In Framer, I wire components to CMS data, layer in animations, and adjust responsiveness directly โ no need to wait on devs. Itโs not just faster; itโs more honest to the end product. Clients no longer get static screens โ they see their product, live and breathing.
Iโve saved countless hours on revisions. Iโve also started to think more like a frontend engineer โ solving layout problems early. Designers today need more than aesthetics; they need end-to-end fluency.
